Great for the whole family, Teller Ranches’ Mountain Bike Ride will provide amazing views of sandstone cliffs, golden prairies and the Continental Divide.

Description: This easy mountain bike route includes spectacular vistas of the Continental Divide, wide-open prairies, towering sandstone cliffs, boulder pastoral farmlands, canals, and raptor and bird nesting grounds. The route, deep in this heart of Boulder’s agricultural heritage and White Rocks Nature Preserve, is a great beginner and family route with no major climbs and fun easy riding. The tour follows wide single track, doublewide track and some farm vehicles roads for a 9.7 mile out and back route.

Itinerary:  We depart from your hotel or a central meeting spot and drive 10-15 minutes to the designated trailhead. While driving, we will cover vital safety and riding considerations. After arriving at the trailhead, we will custom fit your bike, if we did not do so prior to departing, and then head off for a 2:30 great off-road bike tour.

Included: The services of professional biking guide(s); bike rental (Fuji hard-tailed mountain bike) and helmet; round-trip transportation between hotel or central meeting location and trailheads (if needed); water and snacks; education about local and natural history, repair kits (floor pump, hand pump, patch kits, medical kits, etc.).

Not Included: Gratuities for guide (while this is at your discretion, the recommended gratuity is 20%). Denver hotel pick-up is extra $100 per group.

Special Notes:  Bike Upgrade Available! We can arrange for a full suspension mountain bike for an additional cost.

Difficulty Description:  Easy and Moderate. Easy: Gentle climbs and easily avoidable obstacles such as rocks and roots. Moderate: Steep slopes and/or obstacles, possibly on narrow trails with poor traction. Requires riding experience and some fitness.
